Musquin qualified second for the day and secured a second-place transfer into the 450SX Main Event. The Frenchman shot off the line capturing the holeshot and led all 26 laps. Musquin remained calm and in control of the race but it wasn’t an easy one. He had tremendous pressure from Rocky Mountain ATV/MC-WPS-KTM’s Blake Baggett for a majority of the main event but Musquin was able to hold him off with his speed and without making any mistakes.

Musquin: “It’s always a tough track here in Indy, but it’s always been good to me. I won twice on the 250 and now twice on the 450, so obviously I love coming here. I thought about it coming into the weekend and, you know, I won here last year so I was excited for the racing and I think it showed tonight.”

Musquin has shown some series speed the last few weeks but hasn’t gotten the start he needed. This will be his seventh career 450SX win and has now won Indy two years in a row. Musquin will be carrying this momentum into next weekend’s race in Seattle, Washington.
